Privacy policy
Crumbo ("the app", "we", "us") is a junk food tracker developed by Louis Currie. We built Crumbo to respect your privacy: it works on your device, requires no account, and collects no analytics. This policy explains what limited data the app uses and why.

The short version
• No account, no sign-up, no login. We never ask for your email, phone number, or password.
• Your calendar stays with you. Your logged days, stickers, photos, cutouts, and notes are stored on your iPhone and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage. None of it is uploaded to us.
• Photos are processed on your device. Cutting the food out of a photo to make a sticker happens entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device image processing. Your photos are never sent to us or to any third party.
• No analytics, no tracking, no ads. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
• We can't see your data. Because your information lives on your device and in your private iCloud, we have no way to access it.

• Your calendar: which days you marked clean, which days you logged junk on, and what you logged.
• Your stickers: the built-in stickers you have used, hidden, or renamed, and any custom stickers you have created, including their names.
• Photos and cutouts: any photo you take or pick to make a sticker, and the cut-out sticker made from it.
• Notes you optionally add to a logged item.
• Doodles you draw on day tiles.
• Settings, such as haptics and the language the app is shown in.
This information is not transmitted to us and is never linked to your identity.

iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud on your iPhone, Crumbo keeps a copy of your calendar, stickers, photos, and cutouts in your private iCloud database so they follow you to a new phone. This uses Apple's CloudKit service. The data is stored in your own iCloud account under Apple's terms and Apple's Privacy Policy; it is not stored on servers we operate, and we cannot read it. If you are not signed in to iCloud, or iCloud is restricted on your device, everything stays on the phone only.
To keep sync current, Apple may deliver silent background notifications to the app when your iCloud data changes. These are not visible and are not used to message you.

Purchases and subscriptions
Crumbo offers an optional upgrade, Crumbo+. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, and purchase status is managed using RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider. We do not receive your name, email, or payment details; Apple handles all payment information. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier and the purchase information Apple provides, used solely to confirm whether Crumbo+ is active on your device. See Apple's Privacy Policy and RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Data retention and deletion
Because your data is stored on your device and in your iCloud, you control it. Anything you delete in the app, such as a logged item, a sticker, or a photo, is removed from your device and from your iCloud copy. Deleting the app removes all data stored on that device. To remove the iCloud copy as well, delete Crumbo's data under iCloud storage in the iPhone Settings app. We do not maintain user profiles.
